And now, for my final magic trick of the evening!
Emily’s face went from glum to glamazon with just a few clicks!

OK, so obviously I haven’t had time to do this on myself yet, but how amazing is Taaz, the online beauty makeover site?!

To put it nicely, you’re crazy if you don’t use and love ShopStyle.com. Why scour the Internet looking for the perfect clothes when they can do all the work? You can set price alerts and set up stylebooks. They’ve also just added ShopStyle Living, where you can virtually scan home furnishing and decor stores in one place. I’m in love.
Ladies and gents, I present you with my dream bedroom:
*Note: I hope these dreams become somewhat of a reality as we are currently registered for the sheets. It was the one set we could decide on, and wouldn’t you know it — it was also one of the most expensive sets! [Fingers crossed!]
My new distraction project: Decorating my future house via MyDeco.com. This is so Matt can see why I want to register for an awesome wall mirror or rug instead of maybe, forks. That’s why we have hands.

Steve Madden’s Nexxus Brown Leather Boot.
On sale. Cute. Jean tuckable. What are you still doing drooling over that photo? Go! Click size 8 and buy it for your favorite blogger! (Psst! Your favorite blogger=me. Got it? Okay, good. Just making sure!)
Usually I’m all up on Target’s GO designer timelines. But I’ve fallen behind. I haven’t been too impressed with the latest lines. And I especially didn’t pay attention to the designer accessory lines. Until today.
Thankfully, Love Made Visible has shared a secret find: Loeffler Randall’s stuff online before the official launch date. I feel so VIP already. His satchel would be my ticket to (fantasy) life behind the velvet ropes:

Looks like that Target gift card I got yesterday will come in handy!
I’m ending my 22nd year potentially spending $895 on shiny new pumps. Only problem is, they aren’t made by Prada or Christian Louboutin. They’re made by Volkswagon. Oh happy day. I don’t think life understands that that wasn’t on my Kaboodle birthday list:
If you haven’t been to a wedding lately, you may have missed the widespread popularity that is the strapless, tea-length dress. So as I’m prowling The Wedding Channel and The Knot’s bridesmaid’s dress photo galleries, it’s pretty much a quick click through to gaze at the color choices. Then I was stopped dead in my web surfing tracks with the funky offerings from Impression Bridesmaids. These would definitely make quite the impression at my wedding, which is why after I finish blogging, I’m ordering them right away.

Lately I’ve been yearning for inspiration. I can see daily life and responsibility clouding my once strong creative drive. Since I don’t have much free time to visit museums and stores, I’ve been scouring my beloved Internet for blogs of inspiration, specifically fashion and design blogs.
I’d like to feature some of my favorites, the first being The Sartorialist. It’s a Web site seeking to highlight street fashion. Featured subjects nonchalantly pose, providing a very real and cutting edge editorial feature that inspires me to adjust my thinking of clothing (and my surroundings) as art.

You can never have enough art stimulation, so if you have any suggestions or links to inspiration, send them my way: [emily at emilyatwood.com].
