Still waiting for my world to explode

Filed under: Daily Sass, Posh Sass — Emily at 4:02 pm on Sunday, April 30, 2006

Vices are pretty bad by themselves. When you combine them, they seem to take on a lifeform all their own. Drinking and cigarettes. Coffee and caramel sauce. ANTM and MySpace. Christine and Nnenna, beautiful chemists, know what it’s like to mix reactive and potent substances.

For the past two nights I have spent far too long searching for ANTM contestants on MySpace. I have successfully found most of this season’s contestants and a handful from seasons past — Dani the crazy conservative, Cassondra with the fear of scissors and others. But I have yet to find Lisa, my favorite next to Joanie, of course. I am officially friends with Joanie Dodds. Don’t be too jealous.

Wow, congratulations, you did it! Now I can see what you mean when you say you did nothing yesterday afternoon. At least you’re not in denial.

To clarify, the first two sets of vices are famous ones, not mine. Other than ANTM and MySpace, I’m like Mary Poppins - practically perfect in every way. :O)

I’m sure you’re aware that Joanie is currently being featured on Pennsylvania’s tourism website, visitPA.com?? She’s on the homepage right now!

The PA Tourism Office is running a cool campaign this summer, showcasing celebs who represent Pennsylvania well. On Joanie’s list, you can check out where she loves to eat, shop, and a lot more!

If you haven’t, check it out at http://www.visitpa.com/visitpa/playlistDetail.pa?type=celebrity&name=Joanie_Dodds
