I’m done with school. I took my last final. There was a lot of hard work to get to this point. I should be elated, but I can’t seem to shake off the down-in-the-dumps mood. And like the song, sometimes thinking about my favorite things makes it a little better. So here are some of my favorites:

- Pretty colors being friends.
- Listening to Fiona Apple’s “Extraordinary Machine.”
- Discovering crazy gadgets.
- Mighty Girl’s loot from Argentina.
- Being among the like-minded thrifty people who share their insider tips.
- Listening to full Johnny Cash songs on his website. Specifically, “Hurt.”
- Knowing my life/appearance isn’t this crazy.
