Blisscotti

My favorite foods are sandwiches and ice cream. Put them together? You get your typical ice cream sandwich. They may try to spice it up with neopolitan or mint chip ice cream. But then pure genius renewed my faith in the beautiful composition: Blisscotti. Someone finally had the brilliant idea to throw in the taste of an Italian vacation, complete with a gondola ride. I got mine at Costco, but the Web site has a vendor search for your area.

I still think one of the main reasons I love these so much is because of the cute, dotty packaging. Love!

I think that would be hard for me.

1) Biscotti has a lot of crunch and takes some energy to bite through. (Maybe I have weak teeth.)

2) Ice cream is not for biting.

So you’d have to put all your energy into biting through the biscotti but then stop biting before your teeth hit icream.

That is some high-maintenance dessert.

No worries there; they don’t call it BLISScotti for nothing! The biscotti is soft and the ice cream stays intact — doesn’t squirt out the sides, leaving a sticky mess. At least for fast ice cream eaters (read: devourers) like me.

P.S. Abs — it’s about time you commented on my blog. Yeesh.

Have you tried the new Blisscotti, now the whole cookie is covered in chocolate, they have 2 with milk chocolate and 2 with dark chocolate, it is delicious…

Have you ever tried or heard of Ruby Jewel Treats??
They are truly the best ice cream sandwich!
Their seasonal flavor is still out- Ginger cookie with Pumpkin Ice cream and but my favorite is Lemon cookie with Honey Lavender ice cream! Yummy!
