Some could say I took a break from blogging/Holidailies. But preparing for New Years in Vegas is anything but a break. Well, perhaps a lucky break. We spent the past two nights at Pure. Jealous? Thought so.

The first night we had VIP passes and our new friends at the club got us on stage with birthday boy Jared Leto. We’re convinced he’s a woman and were going to ask him for eye makeup tips. But then we found out that he’s 35 and probably just hiding wrinkles. And as for the effeminate tendancies–his brother’s name is Shannon. ‘Nuff said. Christine and I had a moment with Jared. I waved and she stuck out her tongue out at him, because it’s what cool people do.

And we thought it was crowded the first night! The place was PACKED with a good number of celebs. Though Ashlee Simpson and John Stamos were no shows, the celebrity crowd included Nick Lachey and 98 Degrees vets, Flava Flav, Dave Navarro, Shannon Elizabeth and more.

All in all it’s a pretty sweet place, though obviously more enjoyable as a VIP. We’re in for another night of fun, so more photos will come soon.
