About Me

My name is Emily Atwood and this is my Web site. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, went to college in Los Angeles and have decided that the Bay Area was better. All except for the weather. And the new Panera that opened days after I left. And the seven girls I lived with in the unit.

It may surprise you that as a recent college graduate, I have no idea what I want to do with my life. That’s probably the best place to be. At least I haven’t gone into fast food, coffee or retail. (Not that I have anything against these professions. Money transactions and dealing with customers terrifies me.)

Matt and I have been dating for two years so long that it’s suprising it doesn’t feel that long. And we will soon tie the knot! (See: EmilyandMatt.org)We share a love of Ultimate Frisbee, computers and Coldstone … among other things. And no, we don’t have a “timeline.” I have a lot of other important people in my life, but they don’t have Web sites. Not to mention, they probably don’t want to be on the www without their knowledge. Something about becoming terrorist missle targets if their name, likeness or location appeared on my dinky little blog. But I love them still.

Things that interest me: journalism, blogging (duh), reality TV, puppies, photography, steak, movies, AP Style, crocheting, philosophy, peach bellinis, celedon, rap.
